Forget The Dream Home

March 9, 2012 § Leave a comment

Have you spent too much time looking at dream homes on Pinterest? Me too. I have about nine boards dedicated to the topic. Suffice to say I spend a fair amount of my Pinterest time in their Architecture category. A lot of the pins on there are from ArchDaily in addition to a few rock star architecture pinners that I’m sure we’ll talk about eventually. However, today’s board is brand new and getting better with every pin. The best part is that these images are pure inspiration, not homes to covet. Nothing will kick you out of consumer mode faster than a building from soviet Russia. The ingenious curator is Phillip Toolin, a production designer for film & tv. Check out his work here.

Come take a look at Russian & Soviet Architecture. Click the image for the original pin.
